If you're after that cozy neighborhood vibe with easy access to the I83, this spot nails it. You get a mix of traditional homes and more affordable cottages, so it fits different budgets. Love the trails and parks scattered around, and having a middle school close by is a plus if you have kids—or just want a family-friendly feel. Plus, being in Leander means you've got Hill Country living with easy city access when you need it.

Summary

Deerbrooke closed its first homes in 2017 and building is still going on today (November 2022). Built around some existing neighborhoods and acreage tracts, Deerbroke is a sizable community. Builders include Brohn, Century Communities, Chesmar Homes, GFO Homes, Monticello Homes, Meritage Homes, Perry Homes, Gehan Homes and Sitterle Homes. With this many builders, you can guess there will be a lot of variety in terms of floor plans and architectural style. Deerbrooke homes range in size from 1,308-4920 square feet, with an average size of 2,436 square feet. Lots range from 0.11-0.6 acres, with an average size of 0.16 acres and a median size of 0.14 acres, which tells you most of the lots are small. If you’re not looking to do a lot of yard work, but need some yard space, Deerbrooke is one to consider. Outside you’ll see more stone than brick, giving the neighborhood a more modern look. Roofs are composition shingle and some have some angle to them, giving them some dimension. Inside you can expect a higher end finish out with granite or stone counters, wood look tile, painted cabinets, stainless steel appliances and kitchens that open to family rooms. Deerbrooke amenities are a big draw as well with miles of nature trails, state of the art fitness center, infinity edge pool, splash pad and dog park. And, with it’s convenient location off N Bagdad Road, residents can be on 183 or 183A in a matter of minutes, making it convenient for someone who needs to commute.
