Sorento is a new, master planned community built by DR Horton Home and Pacesetter Homes. Previously, Emerald Homes, a division of DR Horton Homes, built in Sorento but they sold out. DR Horton Homes has been building in Central Texas for decades and will build homes from 1,690-3,304 with 3-4 beds, 2-3.5 baths and 2-3 car garages. DR Horton’s homes will start in the mid $300k’s. Emerald Homes was a higher end product with 2,741-3,837 sqft, 3-5 beds, 2.5-4.5 baths and 2-3 car garages. Pacesetter Homes builds homes from 1,155 sqft to 2,111 sqft, making them the most affordable option in Sorento. Whichever builder you choose, you’ll still get access to the extensive amenities which include community pool, clubhouse, community park and tot lot and fitness facility.
