Summary

With the first homes completed in 2021 and the building continuing today (2023), Emory Crossing is one of Hutto’s newer neighborhoods. Built exclusively by Taylor Morrison Homes, you can find 40′ and 50′ lots, which translate to 0.09-0.24 acre lots. The majority are less than 0.18 acres, however. One and two-story homes range in size from 1,435-2,952 sqft and feature 3-5 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, and two-car garages. In keeping with Taylor Morrison’s architectural style, homes have mostly brick and stone with some stucco accent. They’re one of the few builders in town who use stucco rather than HardiPlank, which gives the home a more upscale look. Given the neighborhood is nearly brand new, landscaping has not had a chance to mature. But homes are well kept, and you’re starting to see owners put their own spin on landscaping. There is an amenity center planned and also future commercial development planned for inside the community as well, both located off Emory Crossing Blvd.
