Homes warranty protection
Mungo Homes offers warranty protection through a third-party program administered by Quality Builders Warranty Corporation (QBW), providing structured coverage and defined standards for new homeowners.
- Third-Party Structural Protection: Mungo Homes partners with Quality Builders Warranty Corporation (QBW), a third-party warranty administrator, to deliver structural coverage. Claims in years 3 through 10 are independently managed and backed by an insurer.
- Strict Structural Defect Definition: Structural protection applies only when physical damage to a load-bearing component—such as foundation, beams, or roof framing—impairs its function to the extent the home becomes unsafe or unlivable.
- Specific Exclusions for Soil Movement and Exterior Elements: Damage from soil movement, landscaping changes, detached structures, driveways, fences, and post-year-one water infiltration is excluded, reinforcing a tight focus on structural core coverage.
- Coverage Transition After Year Two: The builder is responsible for workmanship and systems issues in the first two years. Starting in year three, QBW assumes responsibility for qualifying structural defect claims through its insurer, ensuring continued support if the builder cannot perform.
- Warranty Transferability: The full warranty is automatically transferable to future owners at no cost during the 10-year term, preserving protection after resale.

Warranty coverage, terms, and availability are determined solely by the builder and may vary by community or home. Details and exclusions are outlined in the builder’s official purchase and warranty documentation.
