Many use one of our base plans as a starting point in designing their Custom Sopris Dream Home as our models are a blending evolution of both form and function and represent years of building experience and client feedback.

The New Castle is no different. It was initially designed to maximize efficiency and views in our Heron Lakes Community, however, the design is a tribute to modern Colorado living in every way.

Entering the home from the covered front porch, the foyer provides immediate access to a vaulted and private guest suite. At of the center of the foyer you’ll see the dining room to the right and a half-bath to the left.

The Owner’s Entry, a place to drop shoes and outside activities in a cubby, hang coats and de-stress without the muss after your daily or weekend activity.

High ceilings enhance your natural surroundings and add volume to the living areas while still retaining a sense of creature comfort. A gas fireplace adds warmth to the Grand Room, where entertainment area comes complete with a wood mantle, raised hearth and built in TV space. An adjacent Covered Terrace further creates a sense a place and brings the outdoors in.

Directly adjacent is an awe-inspiring kitchen, including an oversized center island and ample seating for the family, upscale cabinetry. A large walk-in pantry and sunny nook complete the “heart of the home,” to make the New Castle a place to call your own and appreciate for many years to come.
