Summary

Located between Highway 45 and 1327 at Turnersville Road, Turners Crossing residents have some of the easiest access to commuting of any Southeast Austin neighborhood. You can be on 45 in less than a minute and 35 in probably about 3 minutes. The area around the community is still large parcels of ranch land, so you’ll feel like you’re further outside of town than you are. But, with 35 and 45 so close, you can be in South Austin shopping or dining or in Buda in 10 minutes or less. Meritage and TriPointe build a similar style home with Meritage leaning more towards the smaller homes and TriPointe leaning more towards larger homes. Mertiage Homes range in size from 1,240-2,024 and start in the mid $300k’s. TriPointe Homes range in size from 1,603-2,969 square feet and start in the high $300k’s. If you’re looking for oversized 2.5 car garages, check out the TriPointe Homes as they do have some of those. If you want to keep costs down as much as possible, Meritage is your builder. There will be an amenity center once the neighborhood gets a little more built out and it will include a park with kids playground and a community pool. Walking trails will also meander around the community, so you don’t need to go far to get some exercise. If you’re looking for a new home at an affordable price point in Southeast Austin, Turners Crossing is a great place to start your search.
