Summary

One of Hutto’s newer master planned communities, Brooklands first homes were built in 2019 and continue today (2023) by Castlerock, Chesmar Homes, Gray Point Homes and Pacesetter Homes. The neighborhood features two types of homes. Homes on the north end of the community feature HardiPlank exteriors and alleys with garage access in back so you can’t see the garage (or cars) from the curb. The south end of the neighborhood features the more traditional front facing garages with stone and brick exteriors. Homes range in size from 1,297-2,730 sqft and most lot sizes range from 0.1-0.2 acres, with some as large as 1/3 of an acre. The neighborhood does have sidewalks on both sides of the street and a few, small trees in each yard. You’ll also see pocket parks scattered throughout the community and a new 65 acre park with open space, amphitheater and walking trails. Ray Elementary and Farley Middle are within walking distance, making it convenient for buyers who need to get kids to school.
