Summary
A new kind of community is being woven into the Sonoran Hills, northwest of Phoenix, in Peoria, Arizona. Where mountain biking trails travel higher, nature is wilder, city life is close enough and community has an artful touch. With homes inspired by the landscape they inhabit, life at Saddleback will be as extraordinary as the sunsets. Coming spring 2026.
Outside the city, desert becomes hill, and hill becomes mountain. Saguaro and palo verde grow taller together. Trails tie arroyo to ridge and home to nature. Nearby Lake Pleasant shimmers in the Arizona light. And sunsets are measured by applause. Here, a more intentional life starts with a more interesting landscape. Saddleback’s homebuilding partners are carefully selected to ensure the vision comes to life as beautifully as possible and with the lightest environmental touch. Some homes are inspired by regionally traditional styles including Craftsman Bungalow, Spanish Colonial, Monterey, Territorial Ranch and Contemporary. While others, such as what we’re calling Sonoran Mod, are inspired by the land itself. Composed in masonry, stone, stucco and modern siding—and many with welcoming front porches—these homes are designed to bring nature, friends and family all closer together.
