Homes warranty protection
Empire Homes provides a new home warranty that is primarily backed by third-party administrators, offering a clear structure for coverage and defined responsibilities.
- Third-Party Backed Warranty: The warranty is administered by QBW (Quality Builders Warranty) and insured by American Reliance Insurance Company. This provides an independent layer of oversight and financial backing for the homeowner's protection.
- Clear Warrantor Transition: The builder is the warrantor for the first two years, covering workmanship and systems. For years three through ten, the insurer becomes the warrantor for major structural defects, also stepping in during the first two years if the builder defaults on their obligations.
- Automatic Transferability: The Limited Warranty automatically transfers to subsequent homeowners for the remainder of its ten-year term. This feature can add value to the home during resale.
