- Layered Coverage Timeline: The warranty is structured to provide peace of mind over different periods:
- 1-Year: Covers the materials and workmanship of the home.
- 2-Year: Warrants the workability of essential systems, including plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning.
- 5-Year: Uniquely protects against water infiltration and internal leaks, offering a significant period of coverage for this critical area.
- 10-Year: Covers major structural elements of the home, such as the foundation and load-bearing walls.
- Transferable to Future Owners: The warranty is fully transferable to subsequent owners of the home for the duration of its coverage periods, which is a valuable asset for resale.
- Insurance Backing: In certain situations, the builder's obligations are backed by an insurance policy from the Zurich-American Insurance Group, providing an extra layer of financial security for the homeowner.
- Smart Home & Appliance Coverage: Smart home components and consumer products like appliances are not covered under the main warranty.
