The Scholars Landing Homeownership development is the fifth and final phase of the University Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant and the final phase in the redevelopment of the former University Homes public housing site, now known as Scholars Landing. In 2015 Atlanta Housing and the City of Atlanta were awarded a $30 million Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant to help catalyze revitalization in a target area that includes Ashview Heights, Atlanta University Center, and Vine City.
