Island Estates by Bellagio Custom Homes
A truly unique neighborhood and part of Hammock Dunes, Island Estates located on the intracoastal waterway is a neighborhood that derives its name from a splitting of the water at the north end and a rejoining two and one-half miles to the south, creating an island. The Island Estates neighborhood includes just 200 one to two acre estate sized lots offering lots sited either on the intracoastal or the Florida East Coast Canal eastern side. Two gated bridge accesses across the canal create both security and privacy for the residents of this island paradise.
Island Estates is one of the few communities where you can dock your boat in your backyard and still walk or bike to the ocean and golf course. Ocean access is available to residents via a Hammock Dunes private, gated walkover that is located just to the east of Island Estates. The Island, as it is known, offers beautiful waterfront vistas from the privacy of your own custom built home. You can explore the intracoastal or the canal right from your own boat dock or take a walk on the pristine beaches fronting Hammock Dunes or long walks on the Island itself along its two-mile long parkway where it is not uncommon to see a variety of seabirds and even deer in the large natural areas and manicured estates.
Property owners at Island Estates have the option of joining the Hammock Dunes Club. The Club has been named both a Distinguished Emerald Club of the World and a Platinum Club of America, awards representing the highest level of recognition a private club can receive. Its impressive array of amenities includes two Audubon-certified golf courses (the Links and the Creek); a swimming pool and fitness center; beachside croquet courts; tennis, bocce, and pickleball courts; and an oceanfront clubhouse with exceptional dining. The Club's Links Course, designed by Tom Fazio, meanders through Hammock Dunes and has three holes on the ocean. The Creek Course was designed by Rees Jones and is located on the mainland approximately seven miles from the Links Course. It was built on 680 acres of pristine forest and marshland and has its own clubhouse. With no homes or condominiums on the property, it offers sweeping vistas and a quiet, serene environment for golf. Outside of the community, you’ll find access to some of the best shopping and dining in the area all convenient to one of Palm Coast’s best locations.
