  • Third-Party Structural Coverage: The 10-year structural warranty is administered by Maverick and applies to major structural defects in load-bearing components such as foundations, beams, girders, load-bearing walls, roof framing, and more. Coverage requires that structural failure renders the home unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable.
  • Workmanship and Systems Coverage: Coverage includes one year for workmanship and materials (drywall, trim, flooring, cabinetry) and two years for defects in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, including ductwork, piping, and wiring.
  • Defined Texas Foundation Standards: Maverick enforces ASCE-based performance standards for homes in Texas, addressing tilt, deflection, and signs of structural distress, helping to manage performance in regions with expansive soils.
  • Emergency Repair Protocol: Emergencies must be reported immediately to the builder. Only temporary repairs necessary to prevent further damage should be made. Maverick does not reimburse unauthorized permanent repairs.
  • Warranty Access and Claim Process: Homeowners are required to submit claims in writing via the Maverick claim form, and all submissions must be made within the specified warranty period. Claims must be reviewed and confirmed by Maverick for eligibility before any remediation takes place.
