• Clear Structural Defect Definition: Structural coverage applies to physical damage to key load-bearing elements that results in the home becoming unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable. Covered components include framing systems, foundation elements, load-bearing walls, and more.
• Builder Responsibility for Workmanship and Systems: For the first year, the builder is responsible for addressing defects in workmanship and materials such as drywall, flooring, roofing, and finish carpentry. Additionally, a two-year warranty applies to distribution systems including plumbing, electrical wiring, and HVAC ductwork.
