Warranty provides a comprehensive, insurance-backed 1-2-10 plan administered by the independent third-party company, StrucSure Home Warranty. This structure ensures that the warranty obligations are clearly defined and backed by a separate insurance entity.
- Independent Administration and Full Insurance Backing: The entire warranty program is managed by StrucSure Home Warranty. A key feature is that the warranty is fully insurance-backed by Golden Insurance Company (GIC). GIC not only insures the 10-year structural coverage but also agrees to perform the builder's obligations for the 1-year workmanship and 2-year systems warranties if the builder is unable to do so.
- Defined Coverage Periods: The warranty protection is clearly segmented into three phases:
- 1-Year: Covers defects in workmanship and materials, ensuring the quality of the home's construction and finishes.
- 2-Year: Protects the "Delivery Portion" of the home's key systems, which includes the electrical, plumbing, and mechanical distribution lines.
