Providence Homes provides a structured home warranty program administered by Maverick Warranties and Insurance, offering homeowners long-term structural protection and clearly defined performance expectations.
- Third-Party Structural Coverage: Providence Homes partners with Maverick for its 10-year structural warranty. This independent third-party administration ensures coverage for qualifying structural issues beyond the builder's direct obligations .
- Strict Definition of Major Structural Defects: Coverage applies only when there is physical damage to designated load-bearing components (like foundation systems, roof framing, beams, or girders) that causes the home to become unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable.
- Workmanship & Systems Coverage: The first year covers workmanship and materials (e.g., finishes, drywall, flooring), while years one and two include plumbing, electrical, and HVAC system components (distribution systems only, such as wiring, piping, and ductwork).
- Clearly Defined Exclusions: The warranty excludes non-load-bearing elements like drywall cracks, flooring materials, and cosmetic finishes, even if adjacent to a structural issue. Items like landscaping, fences, patios, and detached structures are also not covered.
- Warranty Transferable to Future Owners: The Maverick-backed warranty is transferable within the 10-year term, supporting continued coverage for resale without the need for re-enrollment.
