Park Square Homes provides a dual-layer warranty model with builder-managed service during the initial period and long-term structural coverage backed by a third-party administrator.
- Third-Party Structural Protection: Park Square Homes partners with Maverick Warranties and Insurance to provide the 10-year structural warranty. This ensures independent management of structural claims beyond the builder’s service period.
- Defined Structural Coverage: Structural protection covers key load-bearing elements including footings, foundation systems, beams, trusses, girders, and roof and floor framing. Only physical damage that affects the structural integrity of the home qualifies.
- Direct Builder Involvement for Year One: During the first year, Park Square Homes handles workmanship and materials issues directly. Covered items include cabinetry, countertops, drywall, and roof coverings, with landscaping covered only for the first 30 days.
- Tight Cosmetic and Damage Exclusions: The warranty excludes surface damage not noted at closing (e.g., scratches, dents, window condensation, caulk, and LED bulbs) and any defects caused by improper maintenance or homeowner negligence.
- Non-Transferable Initial Warranty: The one-year workmanship and materials warranty is not transferable if the home is sold within the first 12 months.
