- Third-Party Structural Warranty Backing: Kolter partners with 2-10 HBW, a national third-party warranty administrator, to back the structural coverage. This ensures long-term protection is supported independently of the builder.
- 10-Year Structural Warranty: Structural coverage applies to major load-bearing elements such as roof framing, foundation systems, and load-bearing walls. Covered defects must result in the home becoming unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable to qualify for claims.
- Defined Distribution Systems Coverage (2 Years): The warranty includes protection for critical behind-the-wall systems—electrical wiring, plumbing (supply and waste piping), and ductwork—covering defects in how these systems deliver essential functions.
- Comprehensive Workmanship Coverage (1 Year): Fit, finish, and material quality for items like cabinets, countertops, drywall, flooring, paint, and siding are covered for one year. This ensures visible and surface-level components meet performance standards.
