GFO Home provides direct, builder-managed warranty coverage with defined timelines and repair thresholds across structural, systems, and material categories.

  • Builder-Managed Warranty Program: GFO Home does not partner with a third-party administrator. All warranty coverage is handled directly by the builder.
  • Defined 1-2-6 Framework: The warranty provides 1-year coverage for workmanship and materials, 2-year protection for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical delivery systems, and 6-year coverage for structural foundation defects.
  • Warranty Transfer Restrictions: The 1-year workmanship warranty is not transferable. Only the 2-year mechanical and 6-year structural warranties transfer to a new owner upon resale.
  • Strict Performance Thresholds: Coverage activates only when defects exceed set limits (e.g., concrete cracks must be wider than 1/4 inch or exceed vertical displacement limits).
  • Non-Coverage of Cosmetic & Consequential Damage: Cosmetic blemishes and any related costs (e.g., housing, moving, or storage) are excluded, and third-party alterations void related coverage.
