- Third-Party Structural Warranty Administrator: First Texas Homes partners with StrucSure Home Warranty, LLC to administer its 10-year structural coverage. This third-party backing reinforces long-term protection for major structural components.
- Defined 1-2-10 Coverage Framework: The warranty includes one year of coverage for workmanship and materials, two years for delivery systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and ten years for major structural defects.
- Specific Structural Coverage Scope: Structural protection applies to key load-bearing elements such as foundation systems, floor framing, roof systems, beams, columns, and masonry arches. Coverage is limited to items directly affecting the home’s structural integrity.
- Initial Builder Responsibility: First Texas Homes is responsible for workmanship and system repairs during the first year. Homeowners must contact the builder first for service requests.
- Manufacturer Warranty Assignments: Appliances, equipment, and other components are covered by the original manufacturer warranties. First Texas Homes assigns those warranties to the homeowner but does not provide extended builder coverage for them.
