- Third-Party Structural Coverage: The 10-year structural warranty is administered by 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, providing independent protection for major structural defects in load-bearing elements such as foundations, beams, columns, roof and floor framing systems.
- Workmanship and Systems Protection: The first year covers workmanship and material defects in visible finishes such as drywall, cabinetry, flooring, and interior trim. The second year includes coverage for mechanical distribution systems like electrical wiring, HVAC ductwork, and plumbing lines.
- Clear Structural Defect Requirements: Structural coverage applies only when a designated load-bearing element fails and causes physical damage that renders the home unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable. Covered components include key framing and foundation elements.
