This warranty applies to major structural defects in load-bearing elements such as foundations, beams, girders, and roof systems when those failures make the home unsafe, unsanitary, or unlivable.
- Defined Emergency Coverage Criteria: Emergencies are classified as situations posing an immediate risk of serious bodily harm or physical damage. Covered events include total loss of heating or cooling in extreme weather, full plumbing stoppage, electrical fire hazards, gas leaks, and water supply loss.
- Workmanship and System Coverage: The first year includes workmanship protection for finishes and materials (e.g., drywall, flooring, trim). Two-year coverage applies to distribution systems like electrical wiring, HVAC ductwork, and plumbing lines.
